Overview
Description
The David Schramm Fellowship is an advanced postdoctoral
position for work in Theoretical Astrophysics. In addition to complete
research freedom, the Fellow will be given
many of the responsibilities ordinarily associated with Junior Faculty:
e.g., overseeing postdoc selection, attending staff meetings,
and organizing workshops. Research in the Theoretical Astrophysics Group
is often carried out with members of other astrophysics groups in the Lab
(SDSS, CDMS, SNAP, Pierre Auger, and Dark Energy Survey) and with the
Particle Theory Group.
Eligibilty
The successful candidate will be a PhD physicist of
exceptional talent with a proven research record.
Term of Appointment
The appointment is for up to five years and comes
