CDC - Travelers with Disabilities - Provides links to health information for international travel and traveling rights for people with disabilities.
DOT Launches New Website to Assist Persons with Disabilities For Emergency Preparedness - The U.S. Department of Transportation has launched a new web site to help ensure safer transportation for the disabled in the event of a disaster or emergency. It includes advice on how more mobile disabled persons can prepare their vehicles in advance for emergencies such as snow storms or hurricanes, as well as what to do in case of rail or other mass transit system evacuations.
DOT's Air Travel Consumer Report - Provides useful consumer summaries on the performance of airlines including flight delays, mishandled baggage, oversales, and consumer complaints.
Recreation.gov - Provides a quick way for visitors to locate federal recreational activities by state.
U.S. Department of Transportation's Information for the Air Traveler with a Disability - This website is designed to offer travelers with disabilities a brief but authoritative source of information about the Air Carrier Access rules: the accommodations, facilities, and services that are now required to be available. It also describes features required by other regulations designed to make air travel more accessible.
