DOE's Office of Science - The Department of Energy's Office of Science web site provides information on science education programs, grants, and DOE labs and facilities.
Federal Resources for Educational Excellence (FREE) - makes hundreds of internet-based education resources supported by agencies across the U.S. Federal government easier to find. Search the resources or see them listed by subject.

International Education and Graduate Program Service - Lists overseas programs that are intended to improve secondary and postsecondary teaching and research concerning other cultures and languages, training of specialists, and the American public’s general understanding of the peoples of other countries.
National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) - Part of the U.S. Department of Education and the Institute of Education Sciences, this is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education.
Office of Elementary and Secondary Education(OESE) - OESE promotes academic excellence, enhances educational opportunities and equity for all children and families, and seeks to improve the quality of teaching and learning by providing leadership, technical assistance and financial support.
Office of Intergovernment and Interagency Affairs - works with government officials at the federal, state & local levels, as well as educators, business and community leaders, parents and families, and religious leaders, to encourage their support for improving American education.

Postsecondary Educational Institutions and Programs Accredited by Accrediting Agencies and State Approval Agencies Recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education - The database lists approximately 6,900 postsecondary educational institutions and programs, each of which is accredited by an accrediting agency or state approval agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a reliable authority as to the quality of postsecondary education within the meaning of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA). The U.S. Department of Education recommends that the database be used as one source of qualitative information and that additional sources of qualitative information be consulted.
