The mission of the Energy and Environment (E&E)
Staff is to serve USDA
by providing policy,
guidance, information,
and coordination of
external reporting for
our agencies and staff
offices in these areas:
Alternative fuels and vehicles for USDA fleets;
Energy conservation and efficiency for USDA facilities;
Recycled content, biobased, and environmentally;
preferable products
for use in USDA
programs and operations;
Waste prevention and recycling.
The E&E Staff
works with USDA agency
personnel to accomplish
the government-wide
goals and requirements
in each of these areas
as established by
law and executive
orders.
