The FBI provides its data quality guidelines for the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program at www.fbi.gov/ucr/ucr.htm. These guidelines provide an overview of how the FBI administers the UCR Program, including its procedures for receiving and reviewing data, its procedures for responding to requests for correction of disseminated data, and the appeals process requesters can use if they disagree with the FBI's denial of a request for correction or the corrective action the FBI intends to take concerning the data.
