Question
How does the lack of gravity effect seed germination?
The germination of seeds in microgravity seems to take place in the same way as on the Earth. The subsequent growth of roots and stems is different, of course, without the directional sensing provided by gravity. For more details of these experiments, you might try the NASA website "Ask the Life Scientist".
