The purpose of the Water Resources Program is to monitor and assess surface and groundwater resources, to recommend policies and implement appropriate programs and projects that protect water quality and conserve water resources for the citizens of Bernalillo County.

Watering Restrictions Effective April 1st
Watering restrictions under the Bernalillo County Water Conservation Ordinance take effect April 1st each year for all of Bernalillo County. Sprinkler irrigation is prohibited between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM beginning April 1st and ending October 31st.
