Recreation,
Wilderness, and other maps are available and may be
purchased at any Forest Office
or from the National Forest Store. Some sporting goods stores,
outfitters, and map stores also sell these maps. The
Three Forests Interpretive Association
and Yosemite Association sell interpretive books,
forest maps and visitor
materials at Stanislaus National Forest offices.
Selections include trail guides, natural history and
nature guides, and books on local history. Profits
from sales are returned to the Stanislaus National Forest to
help fund interpretive activities.
