This message is to indicate to you my very strong support for audible pedestrian signals and detectable warnings for those of us who are visually impaired. I am a 67 year old cane traveler

I have worked hard here in Brookline, MA to achieve audible signals at one of our busiest crossings (Coolidge Corner) and at the T stop closest to the headquarters of the Mass. Association of the Blind. It took a long time, but it was worth it. The placement of tactile markers along the edges of elevated subway stations has been very slow in coming in the Boston area, but it is finally installed at most locations and allows me to travel with much greater comfort.

Any attempt to portray these issues as unimportant or of low priority, is extremely misleading and Very upsetting to me and others in this area. Anything you can do to insure the continuation, or acceleration, of these measures would be greatly appreciated.
