As a blind senior citizen who has fallen from subway platforms without detectable warning strips on three occasions and have encountered many automobile accident near misses when crossing complex streets that could have been made safe by the addition of audible, accessible pedestrian traffic signals, I hope that you will take steps to adopt the painstakingly developed PROWAC Report as proposed.

As a citizen and tax payer, I feel that the accommodations contains in this report are reasonably cost effective in terms of improving safe street and independent travel access for persons who are blind  or with other disabilities.

I hope that you will support the prompt adoption of the contents of this report without any further delay.

Thank you for your attention to this request.

Sincerely,
Chet Avery
