Real-Time Data

Clicking on the above link will display the data submitted by Delaware II for the last 48 hours. This data is provided by the Penn State University Weather Pages. If no data is listed, the ship may be in port, the system may be down, or the ship is not submitting data at this time.

Note: For the ship's location, a positive number indicates north latitude and east longitude; a negative number indicates south latitude and west longitude.

The Shipboard Environmental Data Acquisition System (SEAS) is a program developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide accurate meteorological and oceanographic data in real time from ships at sea through the use of satellite data transmission techniques. The system transmits data through either the GOES or INMARSAT C satellites to NOAA.
