The main page contains information on how to place a help call and the process involved.

List Serv |
This item sends the user to the list serv portion of the web site. Here a user can subscribe
to a list, unsubscribe from a list, and send a message to a list. A menu of options is available
to choose from. New list serv requests are made via the web link.

Web |
This item sends the user to the web portion of the web site. Here a user can request a new
database or access to a database, request a new data source to an existing database, request
a new web board or list serv, or request an exemption to an IHS standard. The web standards, web
request form, and infrastructure variables can all to found here as well.

Register/Profile |
This item sends the user to the IHS infrstructure registration and edit profile utilities. The
registration utility allows all IHS users to create a web account used only on IHS internet and
intranet web sites. The edit profile utility allows an authenticated user to edit their web
account.

Login/Logoff |
This item sends the user to the IHS infrstructure login and logoff utility. Since this site
has administrative backend, administrative users must be authenticated to user this portion
of the site.

User Session |
Each user entering this site has a timed session. A user session exists on all pages
except on the main Help Desk page and this help page. The user session is timed due to timed
variables used to program this site. The user's session is reset with click on a link or
button. The timed session counter is located at the bottom left portion of your browser, if
activated. All sessions expire in 60 minutes and redirects your browser to index.cfm.
