King County Community Health Indicators
Measuring the Health of King County residents

The Public Health Community Health Indicators Project is a set of indicators measuring the health of King County residents.

It was developed to provide a broad array of comprehensive, population-based data to community-based organizations, community clinics, public agencies, policymakers and the general public in an accessible format. More about the background of the Community Health Indicators Project.

Visitors to this site are also encouraged to visit the new and innovative Aims High website, which includes not only health data, but other indicators across all County departments. Aims High is part of the Executive's ongiong effort to increase transparency and accountability in county government. Community Health Indicators that are also featured on the Aims High website include a link to that site.

How to access data from Community Health Indicators

Community Health Indicators tables, maps and charts are available through clickable links and are organized into three levels.

Go to the Indicators Index, a top-level menu which lists all indicators and measures.

Each indicator includes separate pages linked below the indicator table for King County trends and demographics, data for King County Health Planning Areas and comparisons to other U.S. counties and the Healthy People 2010 Indicator, if available.

Clicking linked data within the indicator table will display a relevant chart or map.
