Unsolved Murders Get New
Attention as Cold Case Unit Begins to Apply Heat
|
The Cold Case Unit is interested in examining any new
evidence of open cases previously investigated by the
Homicide Unit. As with all investigations, the public's
involvement is critical to providing information and
evidence in these cases. The Unit will be using all avenues
available to investigate and publicize unsolved homicides. If
you have any information on an unsolved Homicide case, you

Speed Monitoring Awareness Radar Trailers Now Available! |
The Albuquerque Police Department's "Speed
Monitoring Awareness Radar Trailers" are now available for
neighborhood speed awareness. If you would like to schedule
the trailer to be in your neighborhood, please call your
nearest Area Command.

Notice: The Albuquerque Police
Department (APD) intends to apply for a 2008 Edward Byrne
Justice Assistance Grant/Technology Program from the U.S.
Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing
Services (COPS). The funding (up to $174,016) will be used to
purchase equipment and technology that will be used to further
the COPS' goal of assisting state, local and tribal efforts to
prevent or reduce crime and violence. All applications must be
