Legislation and Regulations Updates

FEMP has released guidelines to help federal agencies meet energy management and renewable energy requirements for complying with the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) of 2005 and Executive Order 13423. Also available are guidelines for meeting the requirements of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. The guidelines cover federal fleets; fueling centers; lighting, water, and energy usage goals; new building standards; and funding through fiscal year 2030.
