Using ITAS For The First Time

  1. In the text box next to the Login ID: prompt, enter your Social Security Number (no dashes).

  2. In the text box next to the Password: prompt, enter the password newuser.
    Note: ITAS passwords are case sensitive - make sure your Caps Lock key is off before entering the password.

  3. The first time you log in, ITAS will immediately require that you change the generic newuser password to a password unique to you.
    In the text box next to the Current Password: prompt, enter the password newuser.

  4. In the text box next to the New Password: prompt, enter the password you wish to use with ITAS.
    Note: Passwords must be six to eight characters long.

  5. In the text box next to the Re-enter to Confirm prompt, re-type the new password you entered in Step 4.
