The Office of Safety, Security and Infrastructure (SSI) provides for the program management, operational support and analysis, planning and policy execution, on behalf of the Director of the Office of Science (SC), in the areas of laboratory modernization, facilities and infrastructure, Safeguards and Security (S&S), Cyber Security, and Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H). SSI supports the Office of Science (SC) mission to foster, formulate, and support forefront basic and applied research programs which advance the science and technology foundations necessary to accomplish Department of Energy (DOE) missions.
