North Pacific Ocean Islands

Major land features of the North Pacific Ocean  include the Islands of Honshu, Hokkaido and Sakhalin in the western Pacific. The Kuril Islands extend from the southern tip of the Kamchatka Peninsula to Hokkaido. The Aleutian Islands form an arc bordering the Bering Sea to the north. Honshu, Hokkaido, the Kuriles, and Aleutians are all part of the volcanic Ring of Fire circumscribing the North Pacific Ocean.
