If you have any questions or concerns regarding these regulations for exporting animals or animal products to a foreign country, you should contact the APHIS-VS Area Office in the State from which the animals or products will be exported.


Animal Products to Colombia

Effective September 9, 2008, Colombia has banned all poultry and poultry products from the States of Idaho and Oregon.  No other States are currently banned.

Colombia prohibits unprocessed (non-heat treated) poultry products from States considered affected with avian influenza. Poultry products or products containing poultry ingredients that have been subjected during manufacturing or processing to a minimum temperature of 70°C for at least 10 minutes or 80°C for at least 3 minutes will be allowed entry from the prohibited States.

Currently no States are prohibited.
