Advocates for Children of New York

Provides a full range of services (including free individual case advocacy, technical assistance, and training for parents, students and professionals about children's rights) for children and youth who are at greatest risk for school-based discrimination and/or academic failure (including children with disabilities, ethnic minorities, immigrants, homeless children, foster care children and those living in poverty).

Resources for Children with Special Needs (RCSN)

An independent, not-for-profit citywide source of help for New York City parents and caregivers of children with disabilities or special needs, ages birth to 21, and the professionals who work with them. RCSN is designated by the U.S. Department of Education as a Parent Training and Information Center.

Metropolitan Parent Center

A federally and state funded Parent Training and Information Center which offers training courses on special education and provides parent workshops, support groups, one to one advocacy and service coordination for parents who are English limited and/or from low income communities.
