The Outreach Services Team was established to design resources and implement strategies to increase communications and understanding between the agency, our constituents and the general public.
The Team responds to constituent inquiries on almost every topic through CYBERFISH, an on-line web site for the public's use. Team members coordinate outreach and stakeholder events, arrange speaking engagements, design and deploy informational and educational materials, and coordinate special projects that support the agency and its mission.
Internally, the Team designs and maintains a number of communication resources in support of NOAA Fisheries programs, including a national exhibits program, programmatic assistance with communications plans, outreach materials, coordination of web designs, and the development of a national constituent database. The team is based in Silver Spring, Md. (team leads to staff listings).
