Parish Registers
Parish registers are church records that document births, marriages and
deaths. They exist in three forms: published alone, published as part of a
local history series, and unpublished. Registers published as independent
monographs can be identified in a library's catalogs; consultation with a
reference librarian may be helpful. Registers that are published as part of a
local history society series may be identified through use of the three
Mullins guides listed above. Locations of unpublished parish records may be
identified in the works listed below.
