The first tornado was a very weak F0, 40 to 72 mph. The Tornado moved through the small town of Natchez, south of Natchitoches. The Track that was surveyed began one mile southwest of Natchez moved northeast across the north side of Natchez before ending one half mile northeast of town. This tornado might have had a longer track, but time constraints prevented a further survey.

The second tornado affected extreme southern Natchitoches and central Grant Parishes. In Natchitoches parish the tornado had a 20 mile track in Natchitoches parish where it entered the parish near Mora or about 15 east southeast of Kisatchie and exited the parish when it crossed the Red River north of Colfax. The tornado had a width of 100 to 300 yards with most of the damage along highway 490 near Galbraith and Marco. The tornado was rated an F2 in Natchitoches parish with winds 113 to 157 mph. In Grant parish, this tornado weakened to an F0 with winds between 40 and 72 mph. The track in Grant parish was from about 2 1/2 miles north of Colfax northeast across Lake Iatt to near Williana. The tornado had a width of around 50 to 75 yards.

The third tornado of the day began just southwest of Olla, LA, in La Salle parish...and moved northeast through the town of Olla and then northeast into Caldwell parish near Spaulding, LA. Then the tornado tracked northeast affecting the small communities of Holum and Copenhagen. The Tornado was rated an F3 in La Salle parish with winds between 158 and 205 mph. It had a three mile track in La Salle with a width varying between from 100 to 300 yards. In Caldwell Parish, the tornado had a track of 12 miles with a width varying between 100 to 200 yards wide. This tornado was rated an F2 in Caldwell Parish with winds between 113 to 157 mph.

Another weaker tornado struck part of southern Grant parish with a track of 3 miles from 4 miles southwest of Prospect, LA, and ended one mile south of Prospect, LA, with a damage path between 50 and 100 yards wide. This tornado was rated and F0 with winds between 40 and 72 mph.
