Bernalillo County Boards

Board of County Commissioners (BCC)
The County Commission hold public meetings each month; administrative matters are heard on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month and zoning cases are heard on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Special meetings, public hearings and community forums are scheduled as issues arise. Agendas and meeting results are available on the County WEB site
County Development Review Authority (CDRA)
The CDRA is made up of staff members representing various County departments, utilities and fire. It is responsible for reviewing all subdivision plats and development plans submitted for conformance with the current Bernalillo County Subdivision Ordinance 96-23. The CDRA meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month.
County Planning Commission (CPC)
The County Planning Commission (CPC) is comprised of seven members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.  The CPC serves as both the Board of Adjustment and the County Planning Commission.  The Board of Adjustment hears cases on appeal from the Zoning Administrator (ZA) and the County Development Review Authority (CDRA).  The CPC hears new requests for zone changes and special use permits as well as other administrative matters.  The CPC meets the 1st Wednesday of the month.
Zoning Administration
The Zoning Administrator (ZA) hears variance and conditional use requests.  The ZA meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
