Welcome to our NOAA Weather Radio page. NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) is a nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting continuous weather information direct from a nearby National Weather Service office. NWR broadcasts National Weather Service warnings, watches, forecasts and other hazard information 24 hours a day.

We have short-term forecast and warning responsibility for a large part of west Texas, and southeast New Mexico. Our County Warning Area (CWA) consists of 26 counties, encompasses around 50,200 square miles, making it the fourth largest CWA in the United States. According to the 2000 Census data, around 535,000 people live in our County Warning Area.
