                        Torque Wrench Calibration

The ORNL Metrology Laboratory maintains the capability to calibrate and adjust torque wrenches and torque transducers.  All calibrations are performed using standards traceable to NIST.   Typical types of torque equipment calibrated by the ORNL Metrology Laboratory include torque wrenches, torque transducers, field torque wrench calibrators, etc.

The ORNL Metrology Lab provides accredited calibrations for any torque parameters within the ranges detailed in our Scope of Accreditation. In addition, traceable non-accredited calibrations are available for torque wrench calibrations from a range of 600-2000 ft lb.

The tables below list our accredited capabilities. See the following link Scope of Accreditation for the entire listing.

If you have questions about our torque capabilities, please contact the ORNL Metrology Laboratory for additional information.
