Goal #1
Physical therapists will be recognized by consumers and healthcare providers as the autonomous practitioner of choice, providing IHS patients direct access to care within the physical therapy scope of practice.
- Monitor physical therapist specialist certification throughout the IHS
- Promote specialist certification throughout the IHS
Goal #2
The orthopedic interest group will develop marketing strategies and educational materials targeting communities, providers, colleagues, administrations and academia.
Goal #3
Use standardized documentation and outcome measures to collect information for analysis within a central database.
