In response to law enforcement, Public Health's First Responders are responsible for informing the public about a hazardous meth lab site, overseeing decontamination of the site and assure proper disposal of hazardous materials from the site.

Focuses on prevention of youth smoking by reducing youth access to tobacco through a retailer compliance check program, promoting education to youth in community and school settings, working with the community, businesses and the King County Board of Health.
