    The Speech group contributes to the advancement of the state-of-the-art in human language technologies and related multi-modal technologies that employ machine learning approaches by:

    • Developing measurement methods and algorithms


    • Providing annotated corpora for development and evaluation

    • Coordinating challenge-task-focused benchmark tests

    • Sponsoring evaluation-oriented workshops
