    2008 Evaluation (ACE08)

    The NIST series of information extraction technology evaluation will continue in May 2008. ACE08 will include:

    • Local (within-document) EDR (Entity Detection and Recognition) and RDR (Relation Detection and Recognition) for English and Arabic.
    • Global (cross-document) EDR and RDR for English and Arabic.

    The evaluation is open to ACE participants and all other researchers that find the task of interest.

    Please explore the ACE 2008 Evaluation Plan describing the ACE 2008 evaluation protocols and data, as well as necessary registration forms, in Documentation.

    Cross-doc pilot corpus

    A pilot corpus for cross-document annotation is available from the LDC.
