The Hong Kong International Building Materials & Construction Equipment Fair will merge together with the Hong Kong International Hardware & Home Improvement Fair this year.  Co-organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Ltd., the fair, renamed as Hong Kong International Building and Decoration Materials & Hardware Fair 2008 will be held in October 28-31, 2008 at the AsiaWorld Expo.  In 2007, both fairs attracted more than 20,000 buyers from 113 countries and regions.

The 2008 show will showcase top-quality branded wares and fine design products in a variety of categories as well as industry technology and services.  Major exhibits will include building materials, decoration materials, hardware & DIY products, bathroom fittings, sanitary wares, doors/windows & accessories, building technology, safety & security system, building engineering & services, and lawn & yard products.  More information is available at: http://hkbdh.com
