Partner Programs: Miltech

MilTech is a collaboration of MSU TechLink and the Montana Manufacturing Center (MMEC) blending the expertise of both organizations in a pilot program to accelerate the transition of new technology to the U.S. warfighter. MilTech leverages TechLink's technology transfer activities to help companies transition innovative technology to Department of Defense operational use more quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively. This partnership between TechLink and MMEC focuses primarily on companies in the Northwestern United States that are commercializing new defense-related technology. MilTech provides critical engineering, manufacturing and business development assistance to these companies. The program enables these companies to accelerate the transition of new technology to the US warfighter, lowers the cost and cycle time of technology acquisition, and helps DoD to more fully benefit from its R&D funding to US small business.
