News, Highlights, and Activities

Welcome to SafetyNet News and Highlights SafetyNet News and Highlights is a webpage designed to keep employees, supervisors, and volunteers at the Department of the Interior informed while promoting and maintaining an interest in safety.

Accident prevention depends on people working safely.  Not all hazards, unsafe conditions, or other problems can be anticipated, so people must rely on their own knowledge, training and self discipline to protect themselves.  The articles on SafetyNet News and Highlights are selected to provide information, focus attention of the causes of accidents, and help to develop safe work habits and attitudes.

Contributions to SafetyNet News and Highlights are always welcome.  Please contact Barry Noll at barry_noll@ios.doi.gov for further information.
