AJE works to motivate and educate parents, and those working with parents, about the laws that govern special education and related services.

A non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing accessibility for people with disabilities by providing tools and services to enable independent living, community integration, reduce barriers and educate to prevent injuries. Services include help with assisted living, education opportunities, enabling technologies, housing options, job searching and personal care assistant training.
Advocates and promotes societal inclusiveness and works jointly with human service providers, businesses, labor unions, local and federal governments to ensure their goal of empowering individuals with physical, mental and medical challenges.
The Postsecondary Education Programs Network (PEPNet) provides resources, information, in-service training, and technical assistance for postsecondary institutions to improve existing services or to establish new services for students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy, The Washington Center help students develop leadership skills and gain valuable work experience in public service. Competitive scholarship awards are offered to eligible student with disabilities interested in working in the executive, judicial or legislative branches of the federal government.
