The Memorial will be open to the public on Thursday, September 11 at 7:00 p.m. To commemorate the Memorial's public opening, the Navy Band and the Sea Chanters Chorus - will perform a musical tribute from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the stage adjacent to the Memorial.

Transportation and Parking

Parking is not available at the Pentagon. Guests are encouraged to arrive by Metro at the Pentagon stop, located on the Yellow and Blue Lines. Upon arrival at the Pentagon, please proceed to Pentagon South Parking. The nearest public parking facility is located at Pentagon City Mall. Parking is at the guest's expense.

Seating

Seating will begin at 6:00 a.m. A prelude program will begin at 8:00 a.m.

Security

Please present your ticket for entrance to the Pentagon Memorial Dedication. Photo identification is required for guests over the age of 18. Please allow adequate time to process through security.

Dress

Business Attire and Uniform of the Day with cover for military guests.

Inclement Weather

The Dedication Ceremony will take place rain or shine. This is an outdoor event; please plan accordingly.

Photography

Cameras are permitted for the Dedication Ceremony.

Viewing of the Memorial

Please present your timed entry ticket for access to the Memorial following the Dedication Ceremony. A time frame is indicated on each ticket to allow for access to the Memorial Park for viewing.
