| The Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility (HIF) at NASA's Stennis Space Center (SSC) operates laboratory facilities that are unique among the U.S. Geological Survey's (USGS) activities. Of principal interest are: An indoor hydraulics laboratory housed in a 35,000 square foot area and an outdoor flood-plain simulation facility covering about 30 acres. The HIF is located near Bay St. Louis, MS, about 50 miles northeast of New Orleans, LA. | |
