ME Announces Availability of The Buy Accessible Wizard to all federal agencies
The Buy Accessible Wizard is a web-based application that guides users through a
process of gathering data and providing information about electronic and information
technology and Section 508 compliance, while compiling a running summary documenting the
process and its results. As announced at the IDEAS conference November 3, any federal agency
employee can use the Buy Accessible Wizard through
www.buyaccessible.gov.
This is a significant tool that will help make compliance with the requirements of Section 508
as easy and thorough as possible. The Wizard is also a valuable training tool that can be
used to help familiarize users with Section 508 and the Access Board Standards. For further
information, please contact Terry Weaver at 202-501-4906 or terry.weaver@gsa.gov.
