About Us

The National Resource Directory is a Web resource that connects wounded, ill and injured service members, veterans, their families and those who support them to the information, services and resources they need. It offers quick and easy access to a full range of medical and non-medical programs and resources available to America's wounded warriors during their recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration.

Information is organized into six major categories: Health, Benefits & Compensation, Education & Training, Employment, Housing & Transportation and Services & Resources.

This Web site is a collaborative project developed by the Departments of Defense, Veterans Affairs and Labor with support from other federal, state and local agencies, veteran service organizations, community and faith-based organizations, private and non-profit organizations, professional associations and businesses. The National Resource Directory is one of several efforts underway to ensure strong and seamless support nationwide for those who have sacrificed in service to others.
