American Community Survey (ACS) 2006 Data
The 2006 American Community Survey (ACS) data release provides data products for a set of
geographic areas with a population of 65,000 or more. The population sizes are based on the
July 1, 2006 Census Bureau population estimates. In the 2006 ACS release, just over 7,000 geographic areas received data. These areas are large enough to meet the 65,000 population threshold for 1-year period estimates. Next year, in addition to the 1-year estimates, the Census Bureau plans to release 3-year period estimates. These estimates will allow for the release of data for more geographic areas – areas with a population of 20,000 or more.
American Community Survey (ACS) 2005 Data
The American Community Survey (ACS) is a nationwide survey designed to provide communities a fresh look at how they are changing. It is a critical element in the Census Bureau's reengineered 2010 census plan. The ACS collects information such as age, race, income, commute time to work, home value, veteran status, and other important data from U.S. households. As with the official decennial census, information about individuals will remain confidential.
Census 2000 School District Tabulation (STP2) Data
The School District Tabulation (STP2) is the second special tabulation produced by the 2000 Census Special Tabulation Program and is similar to Summary File 3 (the standard sample data product) in its use of 821 unique tables (cross-tabulations) – 492 population tables and 329 housing tables. The tabulation provides data for any of the 821 unique tables based on US, American Indian Areas, State, County or School District.
Census 2000 School District Tabulation Supplement (STP2S) Data
The STP2 Supplement re-tabulates nine data tables included in the original STP2 Children’s Own (CO) Record Type for fourteen unique race and ethnic group combinations. Tabulations for these race and ethnic group combinations are provided for the full set of STP2 geographic summary levels and for each of the six CO enrollment iterations.
Census 2000 Summary File 1 (SF1) Data
Summary File 1 (SF 1) contains data on age, sex, households, families, and housing units. These data are based on answers to the questions common to both the Census 2000 Short-Form (PDF - 424KB) and Long-Form (PDF - 627KB) Questionnaires.
Census 2000 Redistricting (P.L. 94-171) Summary File Data
The Redistricting Data (P.L. 94-171) Summary File contains summary statistics on counts of the total population, for the population 18 years and over, for 63 racial categories, and for Hispanic or Latino origin.
Census 1990 School District Tabulation Data
The 1990 Census School District Special Tabulation data are provided for each school district, county and the state. Data are organized by 7 types of tabulation records.
Census 1990 Top 100 Demographic Data items
The "Top 100" database was developed to provide a compact file of key data items for each school district. These data have been drawn mainly from the 1990 Census school district special tabulation.
Census 2000 Map Viewer
The Census 2000 Map Viewer provides thematics maps for selected attributes from the
School District Demographic data. Users have a rich selection of GIS tools to create dynamic thematic
maps and buffer school data.
