Talk Information:

The allocated time for each oral presentation is 20 minutes total (17 minutes for talk + 2.5 minutes of Q&A + 0.5 minutes for speaker change). Due to a very tight schedule, we shall STRICTLY enforce the time limit. Oral presentations will be electronic and must be in Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, or Adobe PDF format. Both PC and Macintosh computers will be available for the presentations. Only in rare unavoidable circumstances shall we accept transparencies. Transparencies need to be handed over to us at least 18 hours before your talk, so that we can scan these into an electronic format. We request that you upload your talk at least one week before the conference start date. If for any reason, you are unable to upload your file using the conference website, please send your talk/poster by e-mail to wcnr8@nist.gov.

Poster Information:

The posters will be displayed during all four days of the conference and there will be a special poster session on the third day of the conference (please see agenda). Preferably, posters should be in color and the size should be between 1.5 m (wide) × 1.0 m (high) to a maximum of 1.8 m (wide) × 1.2 m (high). You may also upload a poster but please make sure that you bring your PRINTED COPY for the display. The poster will be mounted in a highly visible and prominently located viewing area situated next to the conference auditorium. This will offer maximum exposure of your poster not only to the conference participants but to all NIST scientists and visitors as well. WCNR-8 will provide all hardware for mounting your poster.
