Southwest ADA Center (DBTAC)

This Disability & Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) provides training, information and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT) to people in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

New Mexico Technology Assistance Program

Offers free services to New Mexicans with disabilities to help them get the assistive technology (AT) services they need.

Assistive Bank of Loan Equipment Device Loan Program (ABLE)

Offers people with disabilities and their assisting special education personnel, DVR Counselors, One Stop Navigators and case managers the opportunity to try out an assistive device prior to purchase.

University of New Mexico Assistive Technology Program

Provides information on products, training services and resources about assistive technology throughout New Mexico.

Protection & Advocacy for Assistive Technology Program

Serves persons with disabilities who are, or would be, able to maintain or improve their functioning through the use of assistive technology, but have been denied funding or are otherwise having problems in obtaining these devices or services. Both children and adults are eligible for services.

Center for Development & Disability

Works toward the full inclusion of people with disabilities and their families in their community by engaging individuals in making life choices; partnering with communities to build resources; and improving systems of care.

New Mexico Commission for the Blind Assitive Technology Program

Works to meet the individualized employment needs of people who are blind or visually impaired through the use of assitive technology equipment and devices.

Information Center for New Mexicans with Disabilities

Toll free number (1-800-552-8195) provides information to individuals with disabilities, families, advocates, therapists and case managers about service providers, support groups and other local, state and national resources.

Aging & Disability Resource Center

A one-stop resource for seniors, people with disabilities and their families that provides information and assistance on everything from legal service, hospice care, transportation and more. Call 1-800-432-2080.

New Vistas Early Childhood Services

A Center for Independent Living, New Vistas provides family-centered early intervention services, including assistive technology and adaptive equipment, to children (birth to age three) who have or are at risk for developmental delay.
