Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department's K9 Team Take Home Top Awards
 On December 1st and 2nd, members of the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department's K9 team participated in the 2nd Annual Southwest Regional K9 Trials which were held at the University of New Mexico softball field. Deputies and their K9s competed with other law enforcement officers from all over New Mexico. Several of the deputies and their K9s took home top awards, including Top Dog Overall which was awarded to K9 Vasco and his handler, Deputy Larry Harlan. Other awards were as follows:
