Bernalillo County Commission Chair Alan Armijo and APS officials officially opened the new “temporary” home of the Atrisco Heritage High School on Monday, August 4th at 2:00 pm at the former Bernalillo County District Courthouse.
“This site worked out very well for the high school and Bernalillo County,” says Commissioner Armijo. “Quality education is so important to our children and this arrangement takes care of one of the most fundamental elements, a place to learn.”
APS and Bernalillo County worked closely to make certain that the building would adequately accommodate the expected 300 to 500 people. The facility will be open for the upcoming school year.
