Deputy Chief of Staff , G-8

Mission Statement

The DCS G-8 formulates, allocates, administers and reviews the utilization of TRADOC funding and manpower program to execute TRADOC missions, and serves as principal advisor to the CG, and TRADOC's command and staff on finance, resource and management matters.

DCS, G-8 supports Training and Doctrine Command Goals:

• Obtains adequate resources to support accomplishment of TRADOC's mission.
• Improves the allocation of available resources to achieve an optimal balance across TRADOC missions and organizations.
• Ensures continued mission effectiveness and management improvements, while strengthening TRADOC's stewardship of resources.
• Improves the organizational climate of ODCS G-8 to foster teamwork, cohesion, and increased productivity, and to achieve mission requirements with excellence.
• Improves internal and external communication and crosstalk to improve efficient and effective use of TRADOC resources.
