The Bernalillo County Public Information Office (PIO) works with the Board of County Commissioners, other County Elected officials and the County Manager to develop and implement strategic communications plans. This includes media relations, crisis communications, advocacy and public education. Public Information also assists each County department to plan and promote special events, coordinate news releases, prepare information for the website, promote public meetings and create pamphlets and brochures for the general public.
