Indiana is an energy-intensive state.  To boost the state’s generation capacity, it launched a clean-air initiative to promote the use of renewable energy sources like biofuel, as well as to provide incentives for the development of clean coal technology.  Indiana is also a member of two regional partnerships researching carbon sequestration.
