Vision Statement
The Indiana Office of Energy & Defense Development, under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman, is responsible for Indiana's energy policy. That policy is outlined in the state's strategic energy plan, Hoosier Homegrown Energy. The Office leads Indiana's efforts to develop alternative fuels for the U.S. military and assists in the development of of Indiana's defense, aerospace, and homeland security industries.
