Shuttle Schedule

When the University has been closed or employees are released due to inclement weather conditions, a final shuttle will be made to Silver Spring and to the Medical Center Metro if weather permits. Also, a phone tree will be initiated to keep the employees at Silver Spring fully informed. If the roads are not safe or lives are in danger due to highway conditions, the shuttle will not be provided!

An alternative mode of transportation would be the Metrobus line J-1 that departs from the Silver Spring Metro station, stopping outside of the Jones Bridge Road gate, and proceeding to the Medical Center Metro station approximately every 20-30 minutes beginning at 0545 until 0900 and 1615 to 1746 hours. If you need additional information regarding the bus line, the customer information number for METRO is (202) 637-7000.

The safety of our passengers and drivers is of utmost importance! If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the Administrative Support Division on 295-3032.
