What We Do
Our Value to Government Agencies
USA Services is a valuable resource for federal agency customers in need of tailored communications strategies and solutions. We provide targeted programs and contract vehicles to relieve agencies of administering resource-draining, labor-intensive communications tasks while freeing them up to concentrate on their core missions, saving agencies’ time and money.
We also collect and promote best practices, conduct and commission research, develop proven guidelines for effective public interaction, run training events, and organize communities of practice for government officials to exchange ideas and experiences. In addition, our Intergovernmental Solutions Group fosters collaboration and information exchange among governments within the United States and around the world, chiefly on information technology issues.
Our full-service citizen communications capabilities include:

- Fielding misdirected phone calls and emails outside the scope of your agency’s mission and managing a shared FAQ system;
- Services for public government websites such as USA.gov and usasearch.gov and web management training; webcontent.gov guidance to help you manage your agency's website; and

We manage USA.gov, the federal government’s official Web portal, its Spanish-language equivalent GobiernoUSA.gov, the National Contact Center (1-800-FED-INFO) for government inquiries via telephone, and many other trusted citizen resources in a variety of media.
In times of crisis, USA Services works around the clock to link the public with vital government information, whether the emergency is at home or abroad. Our cross-channel approach ensures that the same accurate updates are available to citizens calling a live contact center operator or checking an emergency website.
