Shipyards may want to
consider the potential use of
Brownfields property. Since 1995, the EPA has funded
over 120 Brownfields pilots at a cost of up to $200,000 each.
ISO 14000
The ISO 14000 series of
standards being developed by
ISO
(International Organization for Standardization) brings a
comprehensive systems-based approach which can be used by businesses
and other organizations to manage the impact of their activities on
the environment.
